I realized I DO NOT need to shop! Just because I have a coupon for something free doesn't mean shopping! (ok, maybe a little) but I'm buying one thing, and ONE THING ONLY!

I absolutely go bonkers when they put the same shoes together in two colors! THIS IS WHY I END UP LEAVING WITH... the brown sandals I have on, and the black ones at home!

Welp, this ends the shoe dept, but I was well on my way through the rest of the store! As they are doing a whole overhaul to the store, so everything got pushed together, and put on sale, and I think I will give myself a good pat on the back (or not) because I DIDN'T BUY MORE SHOES.. that day. However I can't get the top ones out of my head so I'm most likely going to go back and get them! LOL!
Be sure to check back the "PAST THE PURSES" (which I was good and didn't add to my purses either, although it was darn hard since there was so much to choose from and now that my house is MINE MINE MINE, I have a lower house payment and REALLY am shooting for new carpet in the big living room! AFTER of course they come and put that puffy stuff in the walls for winterizing! Such an easy thing, one tiny hole can fix SO MANY things and keep my heat bill a tad bit lower! I do pretty good at weatherization anyway, so that's going to be a drop in the bucket! As long as they're here by winter... all will be well! :)
Starting to change my mind on the Safari Theme for the bedroom, and wanting to go with the mint in the big room. I just fell in love with the carpet and would rather have a bright living room, and leave the second living room for the antiques!

:) haha.. that would be cool and fun! I'll actually be back in there in about a week because everything that was half off will be 75% off because they don't have room for it all! LOL! The great thing about it is this store in particular, is kinda pricey, so when you can get get stuff from there, and can be patient.. you get the best for WAY less! Yes, as the little video goes, I am the little girl who grew up and has magic cards, the kind you don't need money! (until they start sending you hate mail, in which I have not yet gotten LOL) ::whew:: luckily!
Kat, I'll admit it....I thought the camouflage shoes were cute, cute, cute!!! With the right top and jeans...oooooo! But you're a good girl! Sometimes home matters more than cute shoes.
Yeah, when I first saw them.. I thought.. I HAVE TONS of cammy clothing that would go GREAT with them! Even a matching purse! lol (yeah I have a purse for every occasion) But I think I would have liked them better if the heel wasn't so high (it made them totally out of sync)lol, or that black toe part, I didn't like that OR THAT THEY WERE FUR!! Um, that made them out of sync too -ya gotta stay true to fashion! I don't know ONE female in the Military that would wear those! Maybe a Military wife?! lol..
But yeah, I'm getting that stuff they poof into the walls for insulation and I want the glass changed out in the windows for the plexiglass that won't break, or leak. I already have it bought and not cut yet so it can be done right, so my house won't lose the old fashion charm (there's some inside if you check out my other hub on it) but yeah, one room at a time, but with my payment being lower I'll still be able to SHOP(some)!!! :) And btw, yeah, that first pic IS REALLY the size of the mall! My next hub will be the inside, you can see how horribly CROWDED IT IS...n't! lol! :) It's a cool mall.. for people who don't like shopping! :)

lol I do too! That is one reason I said it's a cool mall for people who DON'T like shopping! The top photo says it all! It's ONE strip! Not one of those malls that drag you in circles! You can pretty much run in, get what you want and get out! But I did want photos of the wall size photos of historic New Bern they have up. (which I got, yet for another hub to my bucket list)
Although, I see shoes, purses and jewelry (not to mention the Estee Lauder & Clinique are the ONLY places to get quality make up at Belks, in this area) I don't know if you took time to view the video at the top, but it was the things I got that day, and I'd only gone in because I bought that swimsuit online, so I got my free coupons for the month in the mail, and it's just kinda dumb to pass up quality items for free.. even though it's their way of getting you in there!! lol, but if I didn't go while I was in town, I would have missed out on the things I got for free, and if you watch the video you'll see WHY! I had already eye'd the red cross necklace before, but was NOT going to pay $28. for it, so as soon as I switch out those horrid plastic beads and put my glass ones on it (I save antique and glass beads -I do beading as well) it'll be perfect for the outfit I wanted it for in the first place! :) Yeah shopping should come to us, like those school buses with books! "the shop-mobile" lol! I loved that book-mobile! I still have the book my mom bought me from it!
